I can't think of another fight so undeserving of a rematch.

I am surprised Amir Khan has not detracted the rematch clause. Maybe this is standard procedure, some fighters just let the time limit run out then? Give their response on whether they will activate rematch clause or not.

I said in the aftermath of the Brook vs Khan fight, that Amir Khan will not retire. Khan will not want to end his career on a loss, and he will fight once more in a easy fight 'Blast the fighter out, and retire on a win'.

Amir Khan has not really trained for 2-3 years, so another fight will give him more time with Team Crawford & Bomac.

Thurman vs Brook would be an excellent matchup, great clash of styles

We don’t need to see Khan get beat up again

This is a prime instance why these rematch clauses are a bind on our sport .Talk of a Khan rematch is too ridiculous to discuss and for the record instead of the Hearn rematch for Joshua where he barely won a round , wouldn't be nice if we were going to see Fury v Uysk instead of waiting to see if Joshua can improve under a new trainer!

I expect Brook just sells his name to the highest bidder though. Which will likely be Eubank Jr.
Danny Garcia vs Kell Brook in the UK would be a lot of fun.

I believe is a free agent, it's sounds like he has ok with Hearn again but can basically take the best deal but I don't think it makes sense for the PBC to pay big bucks for him.
For Thurman only a DAZN show is probably doable money wise and presumably the PBC would block that, apparently, the Brook/Kahn ppv didn't do as well as hoped and Kahn was the A side in that anyway which probably scuppers a Sky deal.

I suspect Kell's next move is Benn / Eubank or retirement.

Khan is actually ****** and delusional enough that I wouldn’t be entirely shocked if he did implement the rematch clause.

Maybe I'm odd, but I seem to like a lot of different boxers, even within a single weight class. Does anybody else feel that way? Just at 147 for instance, for years I've liked and rooted for Brook, Thurman, Porter, and Crawford. And I've grown to like Danny Garcia (in spite of his dad). And while I don't appreciate Spence's personality or his unwillingness to fight Bud, I appreciate his skills. Really there aren't too many fighters I simply DIS-like. Even Amir Khan. I don't like his mouth or personality, really (though he said something about the coronahoax a while back that made me like him better). And I don't like how he ducked Brook forever, but I respect his skills. To have a softer chin than most, then to fight the types of fighters he's fought, and get brutally KO'd by a bunch of guys and still come back, that means the dude is TOUGH (the Crawford fight withstanding). So, I gotta give him props. Same with a guy like Paulie Malignaggi: zero power and yet look what he accomplished in the sport. Of course, I really like Paulie's personality and his boxing commentary.

I certainly have my favorites (Thurman and Crawford), but I'm genuinely interested to see all these guys fight.

To the point of this article, I'd rather see Brook against Benn or Danny - both at 154 or an in-between catchweight - then against Keith (though I ain't hatin' on that either). Danny said he's looking to move to 154 since after the Spence fight and we haven't heard zip from him since. So, this could be a good way to introduce him to the division. And the Benn fight makes a lot of sense with the UK angle and the up-and-comer vs OG. I'm for all these fights except against Eubank, unless he comes down to 154 for it.
