I'm not paying $60 or $80. I'm watching for free.

Not sure why they think people would pay 80$ for a subscription but then ur still gonna have to pay an extra 60$ for every fight after this lol. The fact they are a streaming service has made them incredibly easy to pirate like why would anyone pay 80$ when u can watch for free
Canelo vs Bivol is a great fight so I will pay for that........but for Golovkin? Hell no

This is exactly why I have IPTV. I pay $15 and get everything...no nonsense.

I have kept my yearly DAZN subscription the past 2 years. That's $200.00. I surely didn't get $200.00 of worthwhile boxing matches. The boxing cards are were just so so. And now its an additional $60.00 to see Canelo - Bivol PPV. I am going to seriously consider not renewing when subscription comes due again the end of the month. Because then I would have spent a total $300.00 for boxing matches the caliber of which PBC would probably televise for free on Fox. SMH

These were/are my sentiment's exactly as soon as I read the thread's subject/headline ; Canelo-Bivol DAZN PPV, even before I read ThatDude44's post.
DAZN's biggest mistake was kowtowing to Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, princess like demands that just about ruined there company from the moment they signed him to a astronomical contract.
A contract that he didn't live up to by reneging on his commitment to fight Gennady "GGG Golovkin for a third time, which was the plan all along in order to recoup, and turn a profit on the astronomical amount they paid him to sign with them.
Not only did he not fight GGG, but he had the audacity to sue DAZN, who again kowtowed to Alvarez's demands letting him out of their contract, but to also poket the remaining money that they paid him for another 2 or 3 fights.
So now this anabolic test tube of a fighter thinks that he is privileged above, and beyond all other fighters in the sport, not to mention having the WBC organization's president Mauricio Sulaiman virtually in his pocket.
So now they (DAZN and WBC), think that we (the fans), will also kowtow, and pay Alvarez's astronomical prices for each one of his fights.
I will cancel my subscription when it is up for renewal, I'm not paying for any PPV events here on out, most of the under cards don't aren't quality fights anyway.
Alvarez is a great fighter, but not pound for pound the best in the business, Bivol is a very good basic fighter not one who's style is exciting to watch.
Now 3 years later he's going to fight GGG, who is so much older now, and looks like he's a steroid's now, no thanks the fight is way past it's expiration date.

Kick in the teeth for subscribers. The premier league is what keeps me with DAZN. The boxing isn't worth it if you have to pay a big chunk on top for the big fights. I'll just wait to watch it free the next day, presuming they make it free to subscribers the next day...

yeah, same thoughts. I’ve been happy with the service and defend it a lot on here, but this irks me.
