Comments Thread For: Canelo's 2-Fight Deal With DAZN Done: Bivol On May 7, Golovkin On September 17

Canelo Alvarez has officially returned to DAZN. BoxingScene.com has confirmed that the Mexican superstar has agreed to a lucrative two-fight deal with the streaming service that once signed him to a 10-fight contract that could've been worth $365 million. The undisputed super middleweight champion will box unbeaten WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol on May 7 and then, if the favored fighter beats Bivol, he will finally face rival Gennadiy Golovkin a third time September 17.

Bivol is a good fight, but I rather him fight Beterbiev over GGG.

Toughest fight of Clenelo’s career. Mark my words this will be a cherrypick gone wrong for Alvaroids. Bivol made Joe Smith look like a D level fighter when they fought. Clenelo needs to bring in Adelaide Byrd and CJ Ross as a judge if he wants a chance of winning this one.

Do some research kid. Top Rank didn’t even made an offer to Canelo to fight either Beterbiev or Joe Smith.

Do Bivol belong in the ring with Canelo? His resume is pretty weak. He hasn’t stopped a fighter in 5 yrs.

Canelo has a legit chance of losing to Bivol at the full 175 pound limit

read what people write. they just stated their preference. nothing to do with what actual fights were offered. get over yourself.

If he doesn't knock Redhead out, and he won't, he's not going to win. They're fighting in Vegas. Chit, they almost cheated Mayweather out of his fight with him.

It's an interesting fight, the GGG trilogy is whatever. Canelo will stop him and close the book on the GGG rivalry.

What excuses will the haters have after Canelo beats Bivol?

"Not fair Bivol had to take a dump so the win don't count"
