  • Comments Thread For: Hearn: I Will Be Making a Major Play for Conor Benn Against Kell Brook

Eddie Hearn believes another tantalizing British crossroads match-up could be on the horizon, provided one Kell Brook decides to take part in it. Hearn, the head of Matchroom Boxing, has made it plainly obvious that he would love to see nothing more than for his former client Brook, a former world champion, take on his current charge Conor Benn, the up-and-coming welterweight.

Last week Brook was “finished” and he had no interest in watching him. This week “he’s still a very dangerous welterweight”.

The brass neck on this c***. What a hypocrite…

An absolutely ridiculous way for him to have handled this whole situation. Credibility killer.

Hearns just like every other promoter and pound note merchant even if the matchroom FC try to tell you different. He said he had no interest in the fight the other week and both guys we're done but now he's seen how big the fight was and how brook still looked half decent hes saying brook is a dangerous fight for benn

Something tells the Great Nash that Benn couldn't handle those chocolate brownies. Nash out.

Brook vs Danny Garcia at 154 I can see PBC making a play at this. Hearn would have to offer Brook damn good money to get him down in weight again to fight Benn. PBC should try to steal this for one of their welters moving up.
