I can't see GGG getting blasted off his feet like Kovalev or Plant, but a thorough battering and stoppage seems very plausible if not probable.

The long layoff and his age make it seem likely. Or he might pull a Marquez and blast Canelo out.

Delusional? The only delusional people here are the ones who say Canelo won or drew either one of those fights, lol.

          How is GGG delusional exactly?

Stoppage yes, KO no way. Need a cruiserweight power to knockout Lil G. He won't be floored.

That being said, I could see a stoppage. Canelo is fighting great, it's probably going to be at a weight where Canelo is more comfortable than GGG, and GGG is over 40 years old. I could see some body shots catching up to him.

I feel like you'd have to kill GGG to actually get him to stop though. Ref could call it or else it would have to be a cold KO.

I think the results of the Murata fight will answer that question more accurately.

I think GGG likely gets knocked down and then a merciful stoppage happens. Probably the 8th or 9th round.
GGG should have lost to Derevchenko and he’s been off for a while. If he’s not fighting until a proposed September date it’s a full cash out.
We don’t need this fight but if GGG wants that retirement check good for Borat. That bag will go a long way in Kazakhstan.
