Sparks are flying!
I'm new to boxing. I have had a heavy bag attached to a stand for a year or so. I decided to mount it to the ceiling instead. Now, when I hit it, tiny sparks appear on the metal mounting hardware. My first thought is I knicked a wire when I was installing it, but it happens even when the power to my house is shut off completely. Now I am thinking something along the lines of static electricity...Is that something that happens with heavy bag boxing? I tried searching for it with no luck.
