Andrade-Parker Purse Bid. Excited anyone??

It seems like a common occurrence with Andrade and his bouts where they need to go to purse bids.

Apparently against Parker for interim spot at super middle.

Is anyone excited about this matchup? Why does it seem that Andrade does not pull much attraction?

I personally think it is because the level of his opponents in practically his WHOLE career.

Do you think he will get any big fights in his career? He isn't getting any younger and is at the tail end of his career imho.

Mildly Zack Parker is a good fighter especially considering it'll be Andrade first fight at 168. Still he needs a big fight already, Plant, Charlo , Benavidez etc

Yeah, and that is the issue, most of Andrade's opponents have all been 'mildly good'.

It sucks that Andrade has not fought even one of the names you mentioned. We'll see how his venture at 168 evolves.
I assure you it will be filled with Canelo call outs and daydreaming though.

DAZN didn't want to pay for the Jenibek b.c it was meaningless and no one knows him. I think after a 4 billion infusion DAZN isn't trying to pay for any more bum fights. Don't have to love Parker/Andrade but it does lead to Canelo who will vacate as usual when Andrade is involved but it does build suspense for the casuals.

Didn't hear any crying when Canelo dumped belts (bodies don't strip cash cows) instead of fighting for undisputed 160, Charlo refused 7-10million, Munguia dropped his WBO mando opportunity, BJS nasal sprayed his way out of the fight and GGG literally did nothing for 18 months and refused the fight. That's all the brand names at 160 refusing to fight one guy.

Andrade is good in my book.

Andrade is good but has had lame opponents his whole career.
Plus, now that you mentioned Canelo, I think Canelo smashes Andrade. Andrade looked bad against Liam, of course looked good against Quiggley because for crying out loud, it was Quiggley.

Andrade is towards the end of his slightly below average career inho.

I definitely don't deny his skills and talent but at this point, he isn't the same I think.
