Comments Thread For: Jermell Charlo: Castano Pulled Out Of Fight To Buy More Time For Bigger Ass Beat'n

Jermell Charlo does not have any intention of slowing down in training camp while waiting for a rescheduled fight date. A planned undisputed junior middleweight championship rematch with Brian Castano was forced to move off its March 19 date when Argentina's Castano (17-0-2, 12KOs) suffered a slight biceps tear. Charlo (34-1-1, 18KOs) isn't exactly handling the delay in stride, maintaining peak physical condition to be ready to make the unbeaten WBO titlist pay for the delay once they are finally able to make their way back into the ring.

"We dont breathe the same air" lol wtf?! Yea ok......He doesn't/didn't need any "tricks" either to beat that ass the first time. You're just a loud mouth where as Castano just came in with a big stick so yea,you better be prepared.

"Tell Castano show those doctor reports..."

I wonder if he ever did? Didn't the WBC order him to do so?

What's even more pathetic is that at this stage of Charlo's career, he still has to rely on a rematch with a B-level smaller fighter in order to remain relevant and become undisputed.

Never cared to see the fight again anyways. Take a risk for once in your life.

Castaņo is hardly b-level. He's an undefeated world champion.

He's rematching a guy who a lot of people thought just beat him. How is that not taking a risk?

first fight was really damn good. I am definitely trying to see the rematch for all the marbles. Not sure why Charlo gets so much hate. He has fought a lot of the guys in his division and generally has made the fights that make sense more often than not.

Castano also has showed his mettle over the years. This is just as good a fight as any.
