Hearns got the money so offer Brook what he deserves if they are looking for his scalp, it may have to be at 149 as Brook is in the driving seat here. Benn better be careful what he wishes for ! He's untested and just a mouth at this time.

Great cross roads fight. I don't thikn Benn is that good and I think Brook has more than a decent chance to beat him even at this age.

If Brook takes this fight he should run the price up drastically. Hearn wants that name on Benn's resume and Brook deserves a killer paycheck if he decides to go out with a loss to a young gun. That being said I'd literally laugh my ass off if Brook beat Benn. That's what Hearn deserves for saying Brook is washed up.

If Brook decides on another fight and chooses Benn, he's not going to fight him at 147 lbs. Brook calls the shots and he can say 154 lbs, or forget about it.

He can also call it a day and he knows he got the win he really wanted, over Khan for bragging rights. That Khan win and his title win over Porter are the highlights of his career.

"Benn is expected to return to the ring by April - with several names in the running to face him. One of those names is veteran Chris Van Heerden."

Nah, not really! It's basically just Chris Van Heerden! Lol! I think Benn vs. Brook is better for Brook, than Eubank Jr.! The only exception is I think Brook needs a catch-weight of about 150! I think 147 is too low for Brook. He could fight Eubank Jr. @ 160, but I think Eubank Jr. would be too big and strong for him.

What Hearn actually means is it’s a brilliant fight financially for all involved, including himself. Which, tbh, is what they’re doing it for so I get the interest. It would do big numbers in the UK.

I don’t really want to see Brook fight a prospect at this stage though, and certainly not boiled down to 147 again.
