    Witter wants Gatti

Junior Witter has called out Arturo Gatti after hearing his fight with Mayweather is definitely off.

"He's a great champion, but I will smash Gatti to pieces, If the Mayweather fight has fallen through then I'll take his place no problem. It's a fight that I've wanted for ages and one I will win easy. I proved to the Americans against Lovemore Ndou that I am true world class and I know I will knock Gatti out."
"My last fight was a WBC eliminator, I've earned my chance and I am ready to take Gatti out," Junior said.

Witter added that the left hand, injured in his stateside debut at the Staples Center in LA, would be fully healed in a matter of weeks.

What do you think, Can you see this happening?

since witter has signed up with golden boy promotions i guess there is a chance but stylistically i think gattis people would be very aware that witter might have the edge...

in addition witter would need to get his injury to heal quickly in order to get ready for that timeframe properly

Well Gatti will have to fight him eventually since he is the mandatory challenger now.

Its a good fight, i hope it happens.

I think Gatti's the better fighter but Witter has a very good punchers chance.

Both fighters can punch, and neither have great chins(Gatti's IMO is better). Witter's style will force Gatti into a war and it would be good while it lasted.

I'd still rather see Hatton vs Gatti and Witter vs Mayweather though.

Witter han't got a good chin?? where do you get that from, I've watched most of his fights and i've never seen him hurt, judah hit him with good shots but he was never hurt in that fight. N'Dou hit him with good shots and witter just laughed at him.

How do you know Witter's got a bad chin?

Gatti-Witter would be a great fight for boxing, it's a showdown of 2 over-hyped frauds with a nieve fanbase, these guys truly deserve each other. When 2 frauds go head-to-head, the sport of boxing wins, because that means 1 guy gets exposed and tossed into the dumpster where they belong.

I didnt say bad, i said it wasnt great.

Witter proved he can take a decent shot but its not solid, i've seen him shook a few times(including the Ndou fight).

Witter chin is still up for debate but its passed the test against a fairly decent puncher in Ndou.

Why do you insist on coming on here just to trash as many fighters as possible. You obviously have no understanding of the sport or no respect for the sport. How long would you last with any of these "fraud" fighters. While I agree some fighters may gain hype not equal to their true skill level, but they all still deserve respect. If you are a true fan of the sport you would understand what these fighters have gone though to make it to where they are today and respect each fighter whether or not their skills can take them to the very top. Every single post I have read of yours on here is disrespectful and is trashing a fighter, or in your words frauds.
