Taylor just isn't ready for a fighter like Hopkins who can do just about anything and is willing to do anything in the ring to win. If he tries his usually tactics I think he will have the young and inexperienced man beat at the press conference. He should try to get in his head and then rough Taylor up a bit during the fight to see how he could handle it.

My early guess for this fight is Hopkins by scorecards. I highly doubt that Taylor will knock Hopkins out. Hopkins is just too experienced and has a great, however mainly untested, chin. He will probably pull of 60% of the rounds and win in a close one. Definetly going to bet for Over on this fight.

Hopkins chin has been tested before against power punchers. He's only been down once officially.

I agree, he has a solid chin. However a young gun may give it a test, but I don't think Taylor is that young gun.

I think Taylor has a good chance as long as he throws 30-35 jabs a round. Hopkins is a notoriously slow starter (look at all his fights and you will see that the first 4 rounds are garbage) and Taylor can take an early 4 point lead if he's active enough. I think Taylor could win by UD if he's smart enough to jab and stay away from Hopkins. He hast to make Bernard come to him and not chase him around like Tito and Eastman did.

i agree. at 40, Hopkins has shown cracks in his "armor", but Taylor hasnt shown he has even developed "armor" yet. By armor I mean how airtight their skills are, Taylor does many things well, but if he does move straight back (God forbid, into the ropes) Jermain will be in a lot of trouble.
