hmm jacobs seemed like he was in survival mode for most of the fight, just uselessly wasting energy moving around and throwing desperate punches to stop pirogs more telling attacks. would have been insane if he had survived and gotten the decision based on what was happening but pirog had all the leverage in his punches and jacobs didnt so wasnt a surprise he got ko'd.

IIRC, DJ landed more. I definitely remember having him winning. I don't care enough to search for punch stats. Just mho

well punch stats arent accurate but he was doing better against pirog than he did against ggg where he struggled to land anything and got battered over and over with gggs jab, then again some people say or pretend jacobs won that fight too so maybe its just a jacobs thing

Punch stats are like grandparents...you love them when they give you things
DJ and GGG fought too cautiously. IMHO, that flash KD won GGG the fight.
Yes, GGG's jab is a legit weapon but he's been largely a one handed headhunter in his big fights.

Neither was a renown champ with an enviable string of defenses
DJ was better in losing that Khan was, obviously
Also, DJ is still active and I don;t see him fading as badly as Khan did.

Khan probably will. I mean he beat Paulie, Zab, Maidana, Devon, Barrera. He also isn't really a welterweight, I feel like he is a natural 140lber

Yep I agree, Khans claim to fame is getting KOed in all his biggest fights, probably the highest-paid loser in history.
