Does Jack Catterall pose much of a threat to Taylor?

Not really, unless Taylor badly overlooks him

Catterall is definitely a well schooled fighter and has a decent boxing IQ. He’s not someone you could just think is a gimme fight and come unprepared because he knows his way around the ring and could win rounds.

Taylor seems pretty diligent though, so as long as he takes it seriously now he’s won all the belts, he should deal with him.

wouldn’t surprise me to see Catterall do well and compete for 3 rounds before Taylor figures him out, which he will because he’s on another level to him.

Zero. Not that he is a bad fighter, but he's pretty basic. doesn't have anything special that could trouble Taylor too much. Not really fast, not a big puncher, just a good all round solid fighter, like Ricky Burns was, but it needs a lot more than that to beat Taylor. He may win 2-3 rounds at best. Nash out.

No. Catterall is a decent fighter but Taylor is an elite fighter. Nobody beats Taylor at 140.

Not much of a threat. Catterall is a steady fighter doesn't make many mistakes and seems tough and durable. He doesn't have what it takes to beat an elite guy like Taylor. Taylor is better in every department
