What ever happened to Vernon Forrest?

After his 2nd loss to Mayorga, I have never heard from him or heard anything of him, other than reading he was injured, but I dont rememebr how credible that source was. Did he ever officially retire? did he get hurt? does he plan on fighting again?

You know i was watching the second mayorga fight the other day and thought the same thing. Im not a big Forrest fan, but i hope he didnt quit boxing. Although you have got to admit Mayorga was prabobly the biggest shock of Vernons life. Hopefully he is just taking some time to gather himself back together.

Forrest was always a nobody. Just as Mosely was always a nobody. Both of them were lucky fighters for a short period of time. But as we saw Forrest was the better of the 2. Mosely for most overrated fighter of the 90s.

I honestly doubt Vernon Forrest will make a successful comeback. but just my opinion.

mosley has had 39wins, 35 kos.the guy has power.

shame ive only seen his fights with dlh, marquez, wright and forrest.
                not exactly his shining moments

and theres a few good fighters on his record i recognize.

so why did mosley fight forrest twice in same yr, wright twice
in same yr yet not delahoya...2-3 yr gap think
