Beterbiev kills Clenelo and we have a few forumites crying for months and uploading pictures of the funeral for a year and a half.
Half of them come out of the closet and show their Clenelo's Custom *****s.

Bivol wins by landslide at 175, at 172 and with less than 5 weeks to train, I don't know.
Golovkin already won the 2 first fights, but he is too old and slow now and the only chance would be to go all in and Ko Clenelo in the first 3 rounds, after that, I don't see it and it is a points decision for the Roided one.

I don't see Canelo fighting Benavidez, why, I don't know. I would like to see that fight.

Benavidez is a weird one though. He’s an okay fighter but Canelo would school him right now, beat the breaks off of him and stop him. “Then why won’t he fight him?” Because Canelo will get nothing for it. No praise. It’s not a legacy fight.

Same fans crying for this fight will bring up the fact that Benavidez hasn’t fought anyone, should have a loss to Gavril, didn’t have the discipline to beat a fighter of Canelo’s caliber, and is green. If Canelo beats him within the next 2 years, all of that is true.

The next problem is if Canelo waits 3-4 years, he will fight Benavidez while past prime, and Benavidez in his prime.

So Canelo needs to either fight him now in a meaningless fight where fans and media will just end up brushing it off as a Canelo winning vs a green fighter. Or fight him later when Canelo is past prime.

This, those are the top 2. Seems like they wont be fighting each other based on promoter nonsense. Either one is a top fight for canelo. Preference for beterbiev based on his age getting that fight done first.

I think it’s just his high KO ratio vs no one. That always gets some fans. 22 KO’s in 25 wins. That would absolutely get you hyped. But that’s how everyone starts.

Nobody cares that he was dropped by Gavril and lost 111-116 on one scorecard and got two other gift scorecards. If that fight had been scored fairly, no one would care about Benavidez right now. He’d still have been on the comeback trail. Unfairly keeping that 0 has made his career keep going well, even with his ******* use and losing the gifted WBC title.

I would love for Canelo to fight this guy this year and destroy him and expose how badly he doesn’t belong at the elite level yet. Benavidez still has like 2-3 years before he is ready. But if him and his fans want him to get humbled and his ass beat now, Canelo should go for it. After the fight, after Canelo scores that stoppage, approach him in his corner, looking all defeated, and pet him on the head like a little puppy. Let him know “You have potential, keep learning, come to my gym, I will teach you some more.” Kiss his forehead like a son.

It is what it is. We might need to wait until 2023. Hopefully by then, Benavidez adds a couple of better names and makes the match more interesting than it is now.

To me Bivol and Beterbiev are far more proven than Benavidez. They look much better against much better opposition. Add that to the fact that they fight at the bigger, tougher, 175lb class, I don't see how Benavidez ranks close to those 2.

However, if you listen to what the so cal fighters say (they all spar each other), all will tell you Benavidez is the real deal and gives them some of the best sparring. GGG, Quillin, Ramirez, Bivol...

I think it's because he's sparred a ton of big names and they all say he's elite or close to it. Still, sparring is not the real thing, and Beterbiev/Bivol are miles ahead of him if we're talking actual resume.

No only you can somehow think ducking testing somehow is better than taking a test & having a trace amount of something thats in the majority of Mexican beef.

Thats just ******,its far easier to avoid vada & cheat than doing what Canelo done his entire career. The amount he failed for is no longer considered an adverse result for a reason,it was bs then & its bs now.

When Bud fought Gamboa he was roasted for not only ducking Vada but that fight didn't even conduct a single pee test before or after the fight.

Only a true hater would say thats better than doing vada every fight & having a single test show a trace amount of the weakest "ped" that Fifa literally said has zero athletic benefits when most the U17 WC came up positive for larger amounts than Canelo had.
