Will Khan take the rematch clause?

forget how the fight went, that part is irrelevant I think.

What if he has a guaranteed a few million in a rematch clause?

he’s made good money, not Floyd money. Lives an expensive lifestyle with his wife too by all accounts.

say he’s guaranteed £3 or £4m and his net worth is supposedly around 20m. One last payday is still a good chunk of that net worth

how many fighters would leave millions on the table if they already have one foot out of the game anyway?

All he has to do is another eight week camp , get into the ring, get another beating and walk away with another few million.

His advisors will be telling him to really consider it, if it’s already in writing .

don’t be surprised if it happens. I know he’s starting to fake his right hand being injured. There’s his excuse for the final payday

    No.

But I will think he will take 1 more fight, and then retire on a win.

Brook was just too strong, physically even at 149 pound weight limit.

I think Khan should fight a easy fight, blast the guy out and then retire.

But why take a fraction of the money?

I don’t think he cares about getting beat again at this point, so why not take the most money if it’s already guaranteed in a clause? - He would still need to do a camp and get in the ring regardless, so I can’t see why he wouldn’t take the bigger money option at this point.

unless someone in the Middle East offers him similar money to fight another Billy Dib.

Brook is not taking a rematch, the Benn & Eubank Junior fights are now bigger fights than Amir Khan.

Next time Khan may be ****** out for the count of 10, I don't think he wants to suffer that kind of loss etc

Brook has no choice if Khan wants it. He had to give into all Khan’s demands for the fight, including a rematch clause.

I’m sure Khan knows he can’t beat Brook but when you have advisors in your ear telling you that you can still make millions just by exercising a clauses and doing a half arsed training camp and fight…don’t be surprised.

I don't think he wants to do the Booty Dew in front of millions again.

Too dangerous. He was caught so often and clean. Probably was worse that he stayed up the whole time because even more shots were landing on him. His health isn't worth the money and he knows that.

Hopefully he knows that, but very few fighters have the luxury to have one last career fight for millions, already guaranteed from a rematch clause. Most fighters leave the sport getting paid pennies as a gatekeeper.

It’s easy for us to say walk away when there isn’t a few million on the table for us, and all you have to do is turn up once more. There’s no pressure or expectation either on his part. Turn up again, take a shellacking again and pocket a few extra mil.

Much harder to just walk away from that when the money is yours.

thats why I won’t be surprised if he does it. The only reason I think he wont Is because he has a big ******
following and could probably make money in exhibitions in the Middle East, if he wanted more money.

Why are you so keen on seeing Khan get badly hurt?
