the wife is obviously desperate for more cash before she divorces the chinless wonder and fleeces him for what she can get & with his history that will be a lot i would say, shes a shrewd operator herself
Khan hopping trainers as usual. Gets nothing out of it.
His best trainer hop was Roach. Because Roach told him to fight. Roach is the best matchmaker in boxing. Better than any promoter.
Roach had Khan fighting old MAB, Salita, Malignaggi, Peterson, Judah, Kotelnyk, McCloskey. Basically fed him a steady diet of fighters who can’t punch, with a couple of past their best decent punchers Judah and MAB. The best fighter Khan fought there, Maidana, almost stopped him. Roach went through a scare there, almost stopped the fight. I can’t really egg Khan on about Peterson, as I had Khan edging Peterson.
DSG was the nail in the coffin, Roach didn’t see him as a big enough puncher. Can you blame Roach? Before the Khan fight, DSG went the distance with Erik Morales, Kendall Holt, and Nate Campbell. The guy was showing below average power vs fighters he should have stopped. Easy win for Khan in Roach’s eyes. The result was the reason you can’t expect to train for someone because you think they’re easy pickings. It backfired. Just like Pac vs JMM 3 and 4.
Khan’s issue, other than his obvious inability to take a punch, is lack of commitment. If he loses to Brook, he will either retire or hop trainers.
Khan and his Mrs relish the spot light , it will be interesting to see if he gets hammered where this leaves them …… she’d probably force him into the rematch clause he’s asked for and sort out his training with the Prescott or Garcia camps …too many flash backs for Reynosa being around though
Amen to that brother. Some **** can’t be taught. And this dude’s still gonna throw automatic combos at predetermined intervals like some **** from Legend of Zelda
Hilarious! But I disagree with your other post. Khan is actually a solid boxer overall. He does throw combos with reckless abandon at the wrong times. But I don't think he's dumb. I don't think he's terrible. He's got a terrible chin, sure. But he's actually very skilled. Got good hand speed. But he's also mistake prone. The problem is, with boxing, those mistakes get you killed!
