If canelo chooses bivol and ggg it will be a financial mistake

Let’s be honest most people have not heard of bivol until the canelo sweepstakes and ggg has done nothing since his last fight with canelo but get older.

Canelo and ggg have allready gone 24 rounds allready and the fights didn’t have the drama or excitement that would warrant a trilogy like fury/wilder or pac/Marquez. The only thing going for that fight is it’s looks more and more likely canelo smashes ggg this time around.

I think canelo/charlo will do the most numbers of the 4 and benavidez will have the most exciting fight with canelo due to his fighting style.

im willing to bet charlo/benavidez sells more Ppv’s than bivol/ggg.

I doubt Canelo cares about that shìt. He's already set for life. Smith and Beterbiev fights in June. Winner will get 3/4 light heavyweight belts.

If Canelo beats Bivol, he gets the last belt at LHW, which makes him 1 fight away from being the only 2 division undisputed champ in the 4 belt era history.

That would be a nice feather on his cap but I’m talking from a financial standpoint.

Financial mistake? So are you a boxing fan or Canelo`s financial advisor?

Fortunately Canelo doesn`t care much about casuals and "I have never heard of Bivol" people.

How will it be a financial mistake? Golovkin's corpse sells more than Charla and Bumavidez. Bivol is not very famous but he has high level skills. Canelo haters will especially watch this fight. Also, DAZN is on its way to becoming the Netflix of the boxing world. Showtime's future is not that bright. It's end will be like HBO.

Indeed. even half dead GGG is more famous than Charlo and Benavidez. And Bivol is a great fight for boxing diehards because he is seen as high skilled fighter in boxing community.

If it’s PPV then there’s most likely an upside. I doubt Canelo is taking a flat fee for a PPV fight.
GGG is a bigger name to the casuals.
He picks up another strap from Bivol, a much tougher fight than Benevidez or Charlo, then retires BBB side in a stay busy fight.
Haymon will still be there with this fights. Maybe have Benevidez not lose his title on the scale.
Another fighter of the year award coming.

I agree with this. Let’s be clear- if he takes a $85 mil deal he isn’t hurting himself in any way.
