Comments Thread For: Kell Brook: I Never Thought Amir Khan Would Take The Fight; But It's Better Late Than Never

There was a time when Kell Brook was resigned to the thought that he would never fight Amir Khan. Brook contends that he always wanted the fight, whereas Khan came up with numerous excuses to avoid boxing his British rival until he finally agreed last fall to box Brook on Saturday night in Manchester, England. The 35-year-old Brook recalled that he first targeted Khan after the Sheffield native defeated Shawn Porter by majority decision in August 2014 to win the IBF welterweight title at StubHub Center in Carson, California.

Khan dominates early rounds, Brook hurts him at some point, Khan boxes his way to UD. Kell retires tearfully. Khan calls out Conor Benn

I'm having flashbacks of Pac-Floyd with that title

just replace Kell with ¨Pac¨ and Khan with ¨Mayweather¨

Khan’s weakness is the chin and Brook’s weakness is that eye

That’s one POV sure! Here’s another:

Khan dominates rounds 1 thru 3, Brook starts having some success in round 4, wobbles Khan.
Round 5 Brook catches Khan again and wobbles him, goes in for the kill, KHTFO! Khan’s Glass Joe legendary chin is exposed again!
Khan is asked if he will retire but won’t commit, makes his usual excuses about why he lost!
            Brook calls out Conor Benn!
