    Canelo, PEDs, and Power

How is it that Chavez Jr was walking forward, totally unafraid of Canelo's power, getting hit hundreds of times but never once hurt? But now he has these guys at 168 and 175 running totally scared of his punching power? It's like Kovalev, Smith, BJS, Plant were just fighting not to get KOd.

His power and other improvements were likely helped by PEDs, however:

    1. If you work on something it can be improved.

    2. Chavez had a good chin.

    3. Kovalev was shot imo. Got stopped by Ward who wasn't a big puncher.

    4. Smith was outclassed and still survived.

    5. Saunders has always been a mover. The punch which caused his injury was perfectly timed when Saunders made a ****** mistake.

    6. Plant was outclassed and who really knows how durable he is?

Canelo was barely 25 years old when he fought Jr, hardly the ripped confident prime Canelo of today. Plus that was his first fight above 155 pounds so no surprise he was a little cautious jumping up to 164 against a guy that was known to blow up to 190 on fight night. Jr. was just there to survive anyway.

They move back because Canelo is pushing forward and half of the guys you mentioned use the style that’s running around. These guys are moving back from rd 1, it has less to do with powers or peds than it does style and strategy(considering Canelo is also a midget).

If vegan Carnelo on a years VADA can push Golovkin back obviously he can push those other guys back.

He's not a midget though, short but very heavy bones and face from all the HGH abuse and massive muscles for the steroids. That's why even when he fought Kovalev he blew up to 190 and Kovalev looked much skinnier than him.

His No Boxing No Life gloves must be a punchers glove or have less padding. Ever since he's started wearing those gloves, we've seen his punches do more damage.
