Beating Andrade adds to Benavidez' boxing resume, legacy, his in-ring experience to handle a hella tricky style, public standing and future ability to negotiate big fights. Promoters aren't managers, they don't guide fighter careers. If I was the fighter, I'd step to dude and say "stop trying to be in my spotlight...I already got a manager so just hype up my d@mn fights!"

If Andrade resigns with matchroom after several years of no meaningful fights with fighters who are actually represented by Hearn then he is a monumental fool the likes of which I have never seen

Even if Andrade signs with PBC the likelihood that Benavidez fights him approaches zero. These PBC guys avoid each other like the plague. I have never seen anything like this. None of these guys will leave much of a legacy or be remembered a decade after they retire.

I think the network issues is what the high demand is about. All these promotional companies are trying to bleed DAZN and Matchroom for every penny because of the hundreds of millions they were offering Canelo and GGG. It ramped up inflation in the sport now all fighters think they deserve tens of millions a fight.

The market prices are determined every day and not by what the price was in the past.

It's not Benavidez who's the problem here. It's his promoters. Benavidez wants big fights, but if he talks of fighting someone he's not gonna be allowed to fight, then the promoter has to speak up with some BS excuse to stop it escalating. These guys are killing boxing.

This guy is a clown. What Andrade brings to the table is it gives him a credible name to the table and it eliminates another obstacle to him vs Canelo. He should also be willing to fight anyone in the Canelo sweepstakes like charlo or Bivol but some other excuses will surface

The high demand is because Andrade is "high risk, low-reward!" Sampson is still hoping that PBC signs Canelo to that 2 fight deal, Charlo in May, Benavidez in September! Let's see how he feels if Canelo chooses the 2 fight deal with DAZN, Bivol in May, and GGG in September? He might change his tune then?

How much sense does it make to say Andrade doesn't attract flies so his team need to cough up a fortune? How does that make financial sense?

Though no fault of his own,that's one of the problems a cash cow like Canelo creates when he'd in around these divisions. You fighters and promoters content on fighting journeyman level opponents until he comes calling.

We never got Plant vs Benavidez,Charlo vs Andrade,Bivol vs Joe/zurdo,Bivol vs Beter...now Benavidez vs Andrade or Andrade vs that Jakuly cat or whatever his name is....all because they afraid of losing that shot at Canelo and the payday it brings. Anyone think we could now get Plant vs Benavidez?? Doubt it....
