Sounds like much ado about nothing. Unfortunately having a court date that late might deter Canelo and his team from choosing him, due to slight uncertainty of what will happen.

I'd rather see Canelo-Charlo than Bivol, who's an excellent boxer but I don't think he'd present as exciting a fight, or challenge.

It is easy for us to cast stones here, but for all we know there is mental health issues. I hope he gets his act together and uses his money to put some folks around him to help curate a life where he no longer gets in trouble.

Pure garbage but he's has to be smarter than this petty crap. its a broke and jealous family member starting a argument that led up to this. if a civil suit is filed then there's your answers to all questions. At the end of the day Charlo who is a prize fighter has to be smarter

"...slight uncertainty..." Are you kidding? No one knows anything about what really went down. When the truth comes out, it might include all kinds of vile behavior that will turn people off. How is Haymon going to convince his investors to put up the multi-million dollar guarantee with this cloud hanging over the fight? It is less about Canelo choosing to fight Charlo at this point -- although his team is smart and will avoid the uncertainty -- and more about this weakening Haymon's ability to find investors willing to assume the risk.

This has got to be the dumbest **** I can imagine. He either hit or pulled some dudes hair that was in his house. First off which is it and second what self respecting man calls the cops because they got hit. How bout just taking an ass whipping like a man and try to give an ass whipping while your at it. The world has turned into a group of sissys.

One fight a year, then what are they supposed to do for the rest of the year?
                    Waste their primes.
It's the ol' "A-Side" thing that's keeping them from prize fighting more than that. A more practical approach would ensure more regular fights, more time spent in the gym collecting some discipline and hopefully less outside trouble. However, Spence has said that he "don't go against the grain with Al". I bet the Charlos also don't. Anyways, all the best to all parties, alleged perps and alleged victims

It happened back in september. Perfect timing. This is on Charlo not keeping his cool.
