      Yes. He combined his style, talent and skills to beat bigger fighters and retain his effectiveness no matter what weight he fought at. Also, he didn't suffer a clear loss until his second to last fight, against Felix Trinidad. Whitaker's defensive skill was mindblowing at times.

        I think he is. He beat a list of great fighters and deserved wins over some other great fighters (which weren't given to him and considered robberies).

        Bernard Hopkins also deserves credit because he beat great fighters as well.

        But overall I would say Whitaker is ahead of him talent wise.

          sweet pea whitaker is the epitome of an all-time great...i'd be suprised if he isn't top 20...hopkins is nobody...barely cracks top 100 imo...

                I can only imagine how even greater Whitaker would've been if he had Hopkins's discipline outside the ring.

                  Although I agree that Whitaker is higher or should be higher than Hop, just wanna let you know that it's not because Pea has the better skills. ATG is about resumes and achievements.....not talent/skills.
