    I thought the first half of the fight had a lot of closeish rounds, with Jacobs edging most of those round by keeping Ryder at distance with his jab. There were reasons to think Jacobs might tire in the second half and tire he did. Spectacularly at times I thought. Ryder bossed the 8th and 9th in particular and the whole of the second half in general. I don't see how it's a robbery for a judge to think Ryder won 7 rounds.
    Good points. Jacobs won rounds by jabs and Ryder won rounds by power punches. Jacobs won most of the first part but he couldn't dominate him. Just edged the rounds. Ryder won his rounds by domination.

      Professional boxing isn’t scored by punch stats. It’s scored in rounds with the 10pt must system. If you can find 7 rounds to score for Ryder in this fight, you’re either biased or an idiot or both.

        I think Nevada and Texas require both to be a judge, not sure about the other States.
