I like Ryder and he has been robbed multiple times by the judges so maybe he was due a bit of luck, but in all honesty he didn't do enough to win that and Jacobs was very unlucky to not get the nod.

I'd have given it to Jacobs slightly, though he won the quiet rounds, by the benefit of doing slightly less than nothing, but then Ryder took the more decisive rounds, I guess the judges had been a bit more generous in the first half of the fight than I was. Jacobs could have done a lot more though, you know you're in the other guys home town, you need to make it clear you're winning rounds to make sure you get them in that type of environment

I had it 115-113 Ryder as well. Commentary was so biased and was rooting for Jacobs. Congratulations to John Ryder on this great victory.

Daniel Jacobs won clearly but I think he should definitely hang them up. If that loss is what it's going to take for him to make that decision, then in a way I'm glad he got robbed. He had a great career and I don't want to see him get hurt. Cong**** Daniel on a great career.

England is not the place to go if your strategy is a close decision win. Jacobs would have needed to keep up his momentum from the first half for a few more rounds. His strategy is too much like Badou Jacks, doing just enough to win but also just enough to get robbed.
