A fight of 2 halves, Jacobs winning the first & Ryder the 2nd, not a robbery but a close fight.
Canelo is busy for a year so will the promoter's push to strip Canelo or do we get a rematch?

I rewatched the fight. Ryder has a LEGIT case. No robbery at all.

Rounds 1 & 2 were close. If pushed to choose, I'd give Round 1 to Jacobs and Round 2 to Ryder.

Rounds 3 & 4 were all Jacobs. He worked from a distance but got tough when needed on the inside.

Rounds 5-7 were competitive. I think Ryder won them all, but I can see why people give them to Jacobs. (Except for Round 7, Ryder was just doing too much.)

Round 8 was all Ryder. He almost had Jacobs down.

Round 9 could go either way. I would make this a draw. I loved how Jacobs came back at the end of the round.

Round 10 was close. Forced to choose, I'd go with Ryder.

Rounds 11 & 12 were Jacobs. Ryder ran out of gas after giving it his all. Jacobs had ran out of gas in the middle round after all the BRUTAL body shots he took, but he got his second wind here.

Score: Personally, I have it 7-6 (1 draw) for Ryder, but I can see 7-5 scores for either man (just like the judge's had it) depending on who you gave the close rounds to. I'm glad Ryder got the decision though as he just clearly wore Jacobs down. Forget the announcers and whoever was scoring for DAZN and just keep an eye on all those body shots. Jacobs kept up rounds 1-4, but he ran out of gas in rounds 5-8. He picked it up in round 9. Ryder finally tired in rounds 11-12 after going full throttle for 10 rounds.

mate - 2 wrongs don't make a right - boxing needs to get sorted - get the sport to the forefront and the business side can take a step back

I get the feeling Jacobs agreed to a step aside fight. Fight for 6 rounds then switch off. Its su****ious.
