I think that was Bill Haney's point - the absolute most money will not be made at a Covid-restricted stadium in Australia. But the homecoming is what Kambosos seems to want more than anything, which is fair, he'll just have to accept it'll hit everyone in the pocket.

Or... Have a homecoming tune up, get a big triumphant win in a stadium in Oz, then go looking for the payday and undisputed fight in America or Middle East (not sure that's realistic, but it's always mentioned now)...

where does the above nonsensical excerpt come from?? Lol

everyone knows Ryan Garcia is sitting in the drivers seat.
But if Kambosos is a bonafide clown that'll make Haney the main man right? Only seat Garcia is driving, is the one in front of his camcorder. Garcia has a fight. Let's see if he wins that first. Actually, let's just see if it happens first. Garcia is the interim bonafide clown.

This is Exhibit A of why fights don't get made!

        1) Here's Kambosos in January:

Kambosos To Devin Haney: "I'm Waiting For The Offer From Eddie Hearn"

3KingsBoxing.com - Devin Haney and George Kambosos Trade Words On Social Media - WBC lightweight champion Devin “The Dream” Haney...read more

        2) Here's Kambosos in February:

Kambosos Takes Aim At Haney, “Have DAZN Got No Faith In Him?”

Haney himself appears to have grown tired of business at 135lbs and is eyeing a move five pounds north for two-weight glory. Kambosos and Haney have had plenty to say to one another even though a punch hasn’t been thrown and the Australian continued the trend last night.

“When I said ‘Now we can talk’ I meant it! I didn’t expect Devin Haney for you to manipulate and play games,” Kambosos wrote on Twitter.

“Eddie Hearn what’s wrong with your boy! Yes, or no? DAZN got no faith in him? Hey Vasyl Lomachenko tell Bob Arum to make a serious offer to Lou DiBella. I’m waiting.”

Once again, a fight that looked a realistic prospect of getting across the line now appears further away than ever.

Lightweight champion George Kambosos Jr has accused rival Devin Haney of manipulation and playing games as a fight between the two looks nowhere near being

        3) Here's Eddie Hearn in February, in this article:

“We need this fight for the undisputed. Devin will fight in Kambosos’ backyard to fight for the undisputed championship. We haven’t had a deal offered to us so far. Call our bluff. Make that offer and we’ll be on the plane."

Eddie Hearn, promoter for WBC lightweight champion Devin Haney, says his boxer is ready to do whatever is necessary to finalize a fight with unified champion Ge

So Kambosos has made clear, he's waiting for Offers from Arum and Hearn, yet here's Hearn saying he's waiting for Kambosos/DIbella to make an offer to Haney! WTF???

I love how George is delusional about how much money he wants, Yet Whyte has every reason to demand over £10M ??

Anybody notice the hypocrisy yet? DAZN have NO interest in Haney-GK. I dunno why but they don’t.

It’s looking much more likely that Haney and his team are asking for too much money. They won’t do “Anything it takes” whatsoever.

this is to save face as usual. I feel sorry for Devin have two mandatory challengers turning down fighting him, But he needs to stop conning the public.

Devin is unknown and not in the vehicle but Tank is the one in the driver's seat. Ryan is in the vehicle but he's on the passenger's side with a rhinestone mini skirt on, eyeliner and mascara caked on his face, a rainbow colored halter top, long strawberry colored lee press on nails, green hair and talking on his pink cellphone to Rihanna getting mental health advice.

Kambosos is playing the long game and I'm not mad at him for that at all. Get the best offer in your career because it may not be another like this. Fighting Haney and beating him makes you undisputed and doubles or triples your money vs Garcia, Matrix or Lopez. I don't think he beats Haney and that is why he is moving slowly away from him but it'll be a good fight but Haney will beat him 9-3 or 8-4 because he is way more defensively responsible than Lopez, has a higher ring IQ and he'll be healthy when they fight. I hope they can get it done for the summer so we can have numerous undisputed bouts and champs this year!

Devin Haney should be willing to take less money and travel to Australia to make this fight happen.

George Kambosos should be willing to go wherever this fight makes him the most money.

You are comparing apples and oranges...

Whyte wanting $10m, from a $40m pot, when he's the interim champion is debatable but not unreasonable. He has also headlined more big shows in the UK that Fury, not that Fury couldn't, but he hasn't - so Whyte can show value that he brings.

We don't know what Kambosos is even asking for, but if you believe Hearn (big if), the amount is "delusional". I assume he wants a certain amount, and Australia just doesn't give them a pie big enough to give it to him.

People on this forum love to attack promoters, which baffles me, they are literally salesman. They only want to make money. So who is the fool when you are moaning about sales people trying to get as much money as they can..!?

Normally the team who wants the promotion is the team who pays for the fight. But in this case Kambosos team want the promotion and to be paid by the other fighters team, and it would go on Dazn, in the case of Haney, as they're now operating in that territory. So it's a case of Kambosos kinda wanting the best of both worlds. A having your cake and eating it scenario. But Hearn has said they'll go with that. So why is there a hold up? It seems Kambosos is a bit extravagant in his purse demands at the moment.
                    good explanation - thanks

oh really? You bill haney and Eddie Hearn are the only people that think that. Kambosos is undisputed he beat the unified undisputed champion teofimo lopez who before him beat the wba/wbc champion vasili lomachenko before him. He unified then lost to kambosos. What champion has haney EVER beat? Who did he beat for his paper belt? He’s the #1 contender for the WBC thats it. Kambosos is undisputed champ only people that don’t recognize that are people that think Devin haney has claim to it because he beat zaur abdullev in whats amounts to #1 contender match lmao
