The only reason to cheat in the fight after your biggest fight would be to the fear of losing the status you took so long to build up...But if every fight at that point is your biggest fight, then I guess it starts you down a serious slope.

Thats pretty much been my point from the beginning. Granted, it doesnt mean its true but its the most likely scenario. If one could be compelled to use illegal wraps against an aging mosley then you'd think that same person would be compelled to use illegal wraps against a prime (and at the time) undefeated fighter.

cotto is a bigger threat than mosley so i came up with the idea that if he thought he needed them against mosley chances are he would have needed them against cotto too...and who knows against how many other fighters.

we will never know for sure.

it could have been just against mosley or he could have been using them his whole career; etc. you never know.
