I think it's more likely that his strategy of walking through Cotto's best punches and getting his ass kicked for half the fight depending on the KO took a lot physically out of him and he tried to cheat against Mosley desperate to keep his newfound superstardom.

It's a very good likelihood he cheated against Cotto but there isn't proof, and we can't act like it is a fact he did.
