Erickson Lubin and Sebastian Fundora have a date for their WBC super welterweight elimination match. BoxingScene.com has learned that Lubin-Fundora will headline a "Showtime Championship Boxing" telecast April 9. The venue for the card that'll showcase those two southpaws hadn't been determined as of Thursday afternoon.

Ennis will be eager to get on with it. He'll be fighting for a world title before the year is out, and trying to prove Shawn Porter wrong. I wouldn't wanna be Clayton. Ennis is gonna take it out on him lol.

Very nice card with two solid fights that should have some fireworks.

Good, Ennis needs to get some work in. Would really like to see him fight 3 times this year and stay active

Cameron Dunkin, please get this done! Showtime is running things in 2022! This would be another very good card! Why are the IBF #1 and #2 spots vacant???

Have to agree looks like Showtime is keepin on with trying to make some more interesting fights, as long as they are not PPVs it is some good cards setting up. Simple enough.

It'd be great to have Boots back in action on this card, but the sure thing is Lubin-Fundora and I'm really looking forward to that one. Lubin has a TALL task ahead of him. Willing to take the risk. Props to him. Should be a very interesting fight.

Lubin - Fundora should be a fun fight. I'll pick Fundora if Lubin tries to **** with him but I could see Lubin outboxing the taller man if he is smart.

Love the Lubin/Fundora fight. That can go either way.

Putting Ennis on the card would be great as well. Clayton is a good fight for him and provides a different look compared to recent opponents. Should be getting a title soon within a year.

I think there were rumors of Harrison vs Garcia as well. I'm meh on that fight but it could be competitive.
