BoxingScene.com has confirmed that Roger Gutierrez is no longer able to proceed with his scheduled WBA junior lightweight title defense versus Colbert due a Covid outbreak among his team. Venezuela's Gutierrez was one of several members in camp to test positive for the infectious disease, thus forcing him out of the main event of a February 26 Showtime tripleheader from The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.

Where did you get that info? That would be a nice fight, but Vargas is a 126lb. fighter, and this would be @ 130.

I know but I didnt think it was finalized. But Shakur wins that kind of easy in my opinion. Ive been wanting to see him fight Colbert for a while.

I doubt it too. But my money is on Colbert. I just want that fight even if it cant be made. It's more fun than watching Valdez get sacrificed.. I love Valdez but hes got no chance. With Colbert you might see Shakur exposed.

I like both fights! I'm just glad Shakur is finally getting the fight that he's wanted for years! I think if Colbert gets a WBA title at 130, he'll more likely move to 135, to fight Tank!
