Aint Kessler the #1 seed in this tournament and the #1 SMW in the world?

Shouldnt he have the Home Court advantage?

I mean in any other sport you have a torunament the #1 seed gets home court.

The other 2 fights are being held at Euorpe, why not this one.

And financially wise it doesnt make sense either, because nobody knows Ward.

The only fight of the opening round of the tournament that should of been fought in the US is Taylor vs Abrahm.

1.To get Abraham more exposure in the US market
2.Because Taylor sells more in the Biloxi area than Abraham in Germany

What you guys think and make about this?

The tourney rules say every fighter will fight at home once. It just worked out that Ward opens at home. Doesn't matter anyway when Kessler KO's Ward..

Taylor sells more in Biloxi? Where did that come from? Taylor has never fought on the Gulf Coast. He sold well for a time to Arkansas but that novelty has long since worn off. Taylor is no longer a legitimate draw anywhere.

but at the same time i've no idea if the fighters had any say what so ever in the order and venue of the fights. The money men behind the tourny might have the only say in the matter. I was just thinking out loud so to speak.

i believe that. I'd rather fight ward in the states, than end up fighting froch in england or abraham in berlin. That way if kessler fights either of those, he can choose to have it in denmark where he feels comfortable.

All the promoters agreed to the venues, money, etc.

                    They all worked together.

Yea because there have never been any bad decisions made in America.

I think what you meant to say is that there is more potential for a hometown decision robbery in Europe than in the States.
