I doubt if a Mayweather-Corrales fiasco style fight will be happen. You don't know anything about that fight, except the result. Corrales was going to jail for 2 years, immediately after the fight. He already had gone up to lightweight, with having great difficulty making 130 for a couple of years already. He was nearly 6 ft tall. He was asked on a video special why he took the fight, and he said 'They made me an offer I just couldn't refuse"..It was $200,000, and already owed every cent of that to lawyers. His family and marriage was in shambles, He was half crazy with tensions and panic.

His trainer said, before the fight, that he just can't get him to train, he sits in the hotel room playing with the Gameboy all day.

He had to weigh in 3 times, was over 30 lbs overweight a couple of weeks before the fight. The morning of the fight he was still 10 lbs over. and spent it in the sweatbox, as he had done for nearly the whole previous month. His body just couldn't take it.

T.K. Stewart, the well known boxing writer wrote, "As soon as I saw him at the weigh itn, skin grey, ribs sticking out, and holding on to a friend's arm to help him walk, I knew he had NO chance". Larry Merchant said on air, just before the fight, "I walked past Chico's dressing room, and there he was sitting on the couch, scoffing a monster size hamburger"....

So nasty things happen in boxing, like this "fight", but that won't happen with Marshall.

The rants are part of self promoting and its getting her paid. It works for her. Shields problem is that she keeps trying for a knock out. Just box and go to the body more and it will come.
