Wrong. Both Murata and Charlo are bigger fights than Eubank Jr., especially Charlo. Murata and Charlo are titleholders and bring more money to the table.

I’d previously thought Eubank jr’s chances of beating bjs in a rematch as slim and none.
If he employs the low volume, pot shotting style he used against Williams then I’d say his chances go to none. He ain’t beating Saunders like that, hoping Saunders doesn’t train for 12 and outworking him in second half of fight is his only chance in a rematch.

I like the confidence but you’d have to favour Eubank if BJS was to walk straight into this fight, if he has a tune up in-between then things will get very interesting

I don’t recall it being on short notice whatsoever. He dragged his feet or his father dragged their feet for weeks. I hardly ever praise Eddie but he well and truly bent over backwards for eubank Jr, even Barry was telling him to stop trying because Chris wont take it, but Eddie genuinely believed they’d take it.

Eventually, GGG got sick of waiting and rightly so he was the A-Side. So a deadline was set, Eddie set it in public so we all knew, And that’s why Kell stepped up, Which btw was ridiculous considering he had a WW Unification with Vargas being discussed, Brook should of took the lesser payday and won that second belt, I always wonder how Brook’s career Would of fared had he turned down GGG.

But in Eubank Jr defence, it seems to be his naivety in negotiations that cost him the fight. Eddie was adamant that if Jr was in the room, he’d of spoken up and told Sr to shut up and he’d of signed to fight.

I think Chris would have a better chance at beating murata, if he does, go to GGG with a belt and demand it be in U.K. instead of Kazakhstan.

I must have missed the fight where BJS hammered Jr, cos all I remember is Jr doing nothing for 6 rounds, then winning pretty much every other round and losing a SD.

I think Canelo knocked the memory out of BJS.

Eubanks wasn't even close to being ready to fight a prime GGG, by a few years, so I don't blame them for not taking the fight, but it was handled by him and his father extremely unprofessionally, and had lead to constant criticism ever since.

He isn't capable of beating GGG now so little has changed, calling out the subhuman and boring to watch BJS is his level.

That’s why the rematch is intriguing. Boxing fans are split on wether Eubank started slow and did nothing first half, and the second half of the fight is more of an indication how the rematch would go. Or Saunders made him look bad but tired in the second half and a rematch would be like the first six rounds.

Personally I believe nobody goes through a gruelling training camp to do nothing in a fight, if a fighter ain’t throwing it’s because he feels he can’t get off and credit bjs with making him inactive.

I can't see Eubank's side wanting this fight. Annoying as he is, Saunders is far more skilled and Eubank won't take a fight this risky until it's a title shot. Maybe after this talk they'll offer it to him at 160 though.
I’m a saunders fan. But no Saunders fan can argue with this. Especially your opening sentence. It’s just BJS to a T. It’s exactly what billy would do. Gave me a good laugh.
