He only wants to fight for titles, money, and instant fame. He would definitely fight Crawford, Ugas, or Spence...or whoever has a title (or can bring him the most fame/$$$).

    BUT:

Thurman looked very small and frail at welterweight. He may want to target Crawford's belt over Spence's. He has a boxer's chance against Crawford. Spence will walk Thurman down and then stop him. Spence will destroy Thurman's frail body. Thurman showed that he still can't take a good body shot.
Interesting, we will see if Keith ever fights Bud. I tend to believe Porter when he says Thurman wouldn't stand much of a chance vs Crawford.

All the criticism is due to the fight being unlikely to be made, but its a good fight and a big draw.

I might be missing something here, but why does the author call Thurman and Crawford ‘two of the most polarising performers in the sport?

This CHALLENGER has already given himself an out to avoid Crawford by talking about the split with a champion, undefeated, who sits atop the p4p list

Crawford is criticized for not fighting the best, but the best won't step up. There is no Sugar Ray Leonard, Duran, Hearns etc. to really test Terence. He would be competitive with all those guys. Spence, well he has to demand the fight if he wants to be considered P4P. Thurman is good but would probably lose to Crawford.

He sounded more interested in fighting Spence to me.

Keith should take one or two more tune ups before jumping in with Ugas , Spence , or Crawford. If he can stay healthy through them. The winner of Ugas / Spence will have more belts, while Crawford just has the WBO. Tough choice on who to fight.

I think Thurman knows Bud would be too much for him at this stage. Thurman doesnt take a body shot very good at all and Bud is a week and destroy guy. I believe even Ugas beats Thurman at this stage in his career. Thurman could probably make a good living fighting the Barrios level guys but beyond that he is too far outside of his peak and shop worn.

It’s funny how when no one will fight you, you get accused of ducking. All there is to know is that Bud called Spence out for years and Spence still running. Tons of video of Spence saying one thing and then going back on it out there.
