Women's boxing isn't the equal of men's boxing but that may not always be the case. Women's MMA has a more respected position in that sport because there is more talent and better product overall.

Also, women's boxing is something that alot of promoters and content providers see value in because it's relatively inexpensive and may reach different target audiences.
If women's mma was respected they would put on all chick cards. Oh wait, they do - Invicta - and no one watches.

Womens mma had Rhonda Rousey. You might of noticed her on commercials or in the fast and furious franchise movies. When she fell so did everyone caring. Womens boxing needs something like her, the novelty of a white girl fighter in Christie Martin or legendary name like Laila Ali wont cut it. Rhonda use to beat chicks in seconds not minutes and would often break limbs, nobody ever saw anything like it.

Women's boxing goes back hundreds of years. So does Bob, respect the wisdom kiddo's. Women's tennis got it respect by a drunken smoker beating one of the best women in the world for fun. He drank and smoked while beating her in straight sets. Then he played the best women in the world at the time, Billy Jean King. He bet all the money he could that King would beat him and then lost on purpose. He made a ton of money and women got their respect in tennis. I only point this out as, Bob's detractor brags about supporting womens tennis.

90% of boxing fans care nothing about womens boxing. I’d rather watch two male journeyman battle it out than I would watch Taylor vs Serrano.

Arum speaks the truth, womens boxing is inferior in every way imaginable and will be for the foreseeable future regardless of how many woke people claim otherwise.

Bob Arum is a bit of a fool, jerk, and bit out of date he hasn't been able to keep up with the time's.
Amanda Serrano versus Katie Taylor just might out sell Shakur Stevenson versus Oscar Valdez.
Serrano vs Taylor is an historical event, as opposed to Stevenson vs Valdez which is just an event.
The females will serve notice to their male counterparts that they have arrived on the big stage.
I was opposed to womens boxing back in the day, but some of them can really fight, and these two
Are the best in the business.
