I just got home and was antsy to write my comments but now with what you posted it just solidified my comments
The guy is a fughin douchebag and should of gotten his opponent out of there and likely making a statement
But no , wanted to dance around and eat punches
Somebody should really tell him that there is only one Roy Jones Jr and he’s far from being the second coming

Weird fight. Eubank has literally turned himself into a discount RJJ without the reflexes, timing or charisma.

Williams was winning rounds in the middle of the fight because Eubank just reverted back to the way he struggled against Saundes and Groves.

Its like Eubank knows his swarming and work rate approach will only take him so far.

Eubank Jr is very frustrating, great work early on but starts showboating and letting the opponent back into the fight. He could have coasted in the middle rounds using his jab and footwork to win the rounds, then stepped on again to get the KO. Coasting/showboating against the world class fighters in the division will cost him a fight.

It seems like a lot of people in boxing are glory hunters. And only give credit to the super elite, or want to TELL everybody that they are fans of the super elite.

I am aware of Chris Eubank Junior's level, I don't think he is super elite. But he is a solid, game fighter.

Tonight he got a solid win over a very good opponent. If you look at Eubank Junior's record he does have two really solid wins now 'James Degale & Liam Williams'. And he beat both of these opponents mainly with his jab, defensive skills and counter punches.

I was disappointed that I did not see Eubank Junior go through the gears and get Williams out of there, and I am unsure whether this is down to making 160 pounds or? A conscious decision by Eubank Junior, because he had so many knock-downs and knew he was winning the fight by a margin.

Overall people need to give him credit. Under the circumstances, that is a impressive win. When Tyson Fury traveled to Germany for the Wladimir Kiltschko fight, he was not being subjected to abuse or hostility from the crowd 'Eubank Junior had to deal with a lot of abuse this week, hold his focus and do a job'.

If Eubank Junior was scoring no knock-downs, the beating Williams would of taken 'Would of been brutal'.

I would honestly expect Eubank Senior to have a world with Junior after this fight, and advise him that he cannot showboat when he is at elite level.
