Neither. He blew his load early and got ktfo late.

JMM had him figured out after the second round.

Whether he was hurt or not is up for debate but he backed his ass into the ropes...

Some say well Marquez fired right back...cuz that's what he's supposed to do...Marquez aint gonna clinch or shoulder roll outta danger...

And outside of Juan Diaz, Pac dropped Marquez at 135...and almost dropped him again in the same round...

I'm watching the fight right now, I don't think Juan Diaz hurt Marquez. I think people have both confused.

Diaz mos def hurt JMM. Never seriously, to the point of bein out on his feet type hurt, but he did hurt him. Obviously he ain't overwhelm JMM, cuz JMM was never for a moment outta the fight.

Its not really up for debate. Left hook lands, Marquez wobbles. Thats hurt.

It worries me. Makes me think his chin has gone soft.

I'd say "stunned" rather than hurt.

If he was truly hurt I don't believe he would've been able to fire back such srisp combinations against the ropes like he did.

I think he would've been much more sloppy and unpolished than he was when he fired back.

I also disagree with nearly everybody else's take that Diaz was "landing at will" on Marquez in that fight.

He was throwing a lot of flashy shots and mixing up his punches well but I saw Marquez picking off a ****load of those shots upstairs on his gloves and arms.

It was more like Diaz smothered Marquez with punches. If Marquez got hurt in that fight, he did a great job not showing it - he stood his ground through diaz's punches the whole night.

A little, stunned, hurt and momentarily overwhelmed.

But JMM handles pressure brilliantly. I think its his greatest asset. His focus is amazing after being hurt.

There arent too many fighters that could have had a good 2nd round after being floored 3 times in the 1st by Pac.
