I hope Al Haymon leaves the sport. He is bad for the sport of boxing and it’s fans, yea he gets his fighters paid but those days are long gone.

Hearn overpay a bunch of scrubs on DAZN

BOXING STINKS! not easy being a fan of this crap product. 95% of fights nowadays are the “top fighters and champs” fighting C level opposition.

I wouldn't watch Keef "PART TIME" Thurman vs. Mario Barrios if FOX paid me $75. Why on earth would anyone other than a legit fanboy put up cash for this? Keith literally hand-picked a dude that just got waxed by a lightweight. #smh

What Haymon needs to realize if things continue and the sport keeps losing fans . Fighter's won't have anyone to pay em. If the sport thrives there will be a lottttt more money for everyone.

Our only hope for the future of boxing at this point is DAZN if they can build the subscriber base therefore have more money to put on even better fights . Maybe If the right person replaces Bob Arum in the future with ESPN they can return Top Rank back to it's glory days . Hopefully Probellum can have a lot of success outside the States lot's of room for growth

Sorry Eddie but your company does not have a future in American boxing and if you don't start paying attention you're not going to have a future in the UK either. Discovery + just bought BT sports which ruined your plans for a British takeover after failing in your plans for the American takeover. This is boxing as we know it in its final death throes. They are feeding off an ever-dwindling fanbase with zero regard for bringing new fans in. It's been a long time coming, but we are now at the stage where they are trying to squeeze the last juices from the dead carcass. If this level of fight is pay per view (and a premium price PPV) then the vast majority of fights will be PPV. And no new fan is going to pay up for that.

Hopefully all the existing promoters will go broke and the sport can start to build itself up again in a new guise.

Finally - a boxing writer calls a pile of crap a pile of crap! Pbc/Fox are going to be the demise of mainstream boxing with what their pulling late last year and this year. Left out the huge ppv main mismatches that were “scared to risk that 0” Davis v B-level no-hopers Barrios/Cruz. Whoa … hold on - they are both Hispanic fighters like previous Davis opponents Lsc/Gamboa and future opponent Romero - go figure.
