    do any boxers here (amateur or pro) still lift weights or no?

    I'm not sure if I should quit lifting weights altogether and rely only on calisthenic workouts (bodyweights), instead of metal weights? I do feel stiff working with weights, my trainer mentioned something about lay off it. Boxing has nothing to do with "bodybuilding". I'd like to hear from you all...

    Usually they use small weights and lift for endurance, and also to improve there punching speed.
