@edgarg: yes Hagler's sudden death was shocking. The news was on all boxing sites and magazines as well as in general sports news so anybody who reads boxing sites on a regular basis would have known about it. My surprise is at how you managed to go 10 months without knowing. May "Marvelous Marvin" continue to sleep in peace.

I second your prayer, very much so. He was someone I also admired as a man.. The reason I missed it is because after very many years of posting often and getting into nasty racial disputes where I suffered very obscene language,, I quit. Even when BS wrote and asked me to return I just couldn't. So only recently I begun check in now and then, and an occasional post.. In the last few days more regularly, having spare time. Being pretty old, and NOT vaccinated I'm sealed off, nothing to do except look at the walls...read....... and/or correct proofs.

But the new BS format deters me, I don't like it, find it harder to find what I want to see. and many items I used to use can't be found-at least by me. The way reports are seem far less complete and informative than before, Maybe it's just me. But I joined the year after they began, and it was always the best. Not now...

@edgarg: you could try other sites if you don't like this format; I don't depend on any one site and check out 4 well-known boxing sites every day and get all the news and info I need from them. Also, don't let racists deter you; there is absolutely no need to use obscene language on this site; it is ignoramuses abusing the site. Most of them don't know much about boxing anyway. Keep going and stay lucky.
