I hope this does terrible numbers so that those in charge understand that you can’t just make any card a PPV card.

Torn on this one. Thurman is a guy that annoys people now days. Doesn't fight much, talks like he's on top and deserves superstar treatment. But the man only has one loss. And that loss was to the best of the best, in Pacquiao. He hasn't looked great in recent fights in general.

But the man is good. Being off for so long, I'm going to assume he'll be "big" for his weight. Not sure if that's positive or negative for him at this point. But Barrios will have to feel the thudding punches over 12 rounds. And Thurman DOES have skill. He's just hard to root for now.

I'll take Thurman in a close, but unanimous decision. 115-113s or 116-112s

He's just doing what Boxers have done for a long long time, talking alot when a fight is imminent. He may well believe his own words, he may not but there is no harm7 in promoting yourself.

Thurman may look good on Saturday and he’ll continue to call for Jr Spence but damn sure we won’t hear anything for heavy hitter T Crawford…. BETCHA !!

If he don't beat them, then let him fight Boots or Vergil.
Why does Thurman deserve title shots with 3 yrs of injuries and surgery, 2 fights where he was nearly knocked out by a B guy and then beaten by Manny.

He needs to prove A) he is not fighting injured, B) that he beats a rated WW.

Was it a good fight? And did Thurman still get a split decision?

I agree he shouldn't have let Pac outwork him tho

All this talk yet everyone #s is **** be honest canelo and sadly jake paul the only fighters that sale worth talking bout. Fury has only sold ppv in the usa on 2 of the wilder fights none of the 3 hitting a million. Look at womans division amanda nunes n thug rose #s then look aat spence davis and crawford #s d... ufc fighters are underpaid by 300-1k %

I could imagine Thurman saying he's the most exciting fighter as he's packing a crack pipe
