I hope fighters enter the library card competition, and perhaps read some books and increase their vocabulary

I'm all for education but I'm pretty sure a fighters vocabulary is the least of their concerns and should be the least of ours for that matter. I cant remember the last time I stopped watching a fight because one of the fighters was an idiot.

It's refreshing when occasionally there is an articulate fighter, this helps sell fights and sometimes brings appeal to a wider audience. But I concede you have a point.

You have a point as well. I personally think about punching myself in the face when I hear fighters like Thurman speak but then it Dawn's on me they get paid to be punched in the face so i cant expect a scholar LMAO. Your point is noted though.

It's sad that everyone wants to be a grammar **** and judge boxers on their manner of speaking, based on the age old notion that boxers are dumb. When in reality, they're smarter than all of you put together, especially in the art and science of boxing. What does any of your racist, snobby, and so-called superior language skills matter, when your brain can't calculate the correct angle to move your head to avoid a punch coming that will knock u all TF out?
