Beating 140lb Lipinets doesnt equate to deserving a title shot.

Boots will only get a show when he forces as mandatory. No one is going to willingly fight him

Lmao...all Ortiz had to do was trigger his mandatory and hed fight Crawford...he didnt and is now fighting the almighty Mckisson or whatevwrthefcuk his name is. Boots went the IBF route instead too. Only ones running from anybody is the (P)rotected (B)oys (C)lub from Crawford

At least he gave Ennis credit.

Only the old timers, the greats like Leonard, Hearns, Duran, De La Hoya and Whitaker would fight a guy like Ennis.

And I'm not saying Ennis is at that high level and could beat that calibre, but so far he's shown more than any other young welterweight today. If he passes the biggest tests, then he's on his way to greatness.

I like the kid and he def has potential, but his only step up has been Lipp who is a creer 140lber and only took the Boots fight cause he couldnt get a champ at 140 and he immediately moved back down. Until Ennis fights his contemporaries (Butaev, Stanionis, Benn, Ortiz or even Avanesyan -ALL 2nd tier WWs-) and beats them w/o question, nobody will really know if hes ready for the champs of the division.

I left Garcia and Thurman off purposely. Garcia is supposedly moving to '54 and am reserving judgement on KEEF until after this weekend.

                  1. Thurman is going to be out 1 1/2 to 2 years after this fight
                  2. I'm tired of hearing about this mf. Never liked him and I still don't. He aint fighting Boots at this age. He didn't even want to fight Spence when he ran and hid for years.

I just wish Barrios would win so he'd go away. I'm tired of hearing him speak
