If JMM loses, it will shatter my idealism.

This is a timeless battle of good vs. evil.

JMM needs to win this fight to prove to humanity that a hard work ethic, strength of character, morality and sportsmanship can still prevail in our present day and age.

Floyd Mayweather winning will only reinforce the notion that the world as we know it is slowly descending into barbarism, where opportunism and the predatory instinct is rewarded.

If JMM loses and is seriously hurt in the process, I will probably have a nervous breakdown. (I'm not joking)

As much as I want JMM to win this fight, I don't think its even possible.

If he comes through and wins it I will be super surprised and won't doubt him ever again in my life lol.

Win lose or draw Marquez is a warrior and will go down as an ATG.

Marquez isn't good enough to win. He's had a nice little career, but he just ain't on Floyd's level.

I know street and thats a good psychological safety net, but him winning will mean so much to so many.

A Marquez win will renew the collective worlds hope when it needs it the most.

Justice needs to be restored and JMM destroying the myth of Floyd is a great inspiration.

              OMG

Some of your posts make it seem like Marquez winning will vastly improve the human race...casual fans I know don't know who Marquez is and didn't know Floyd was even fighting again...

It's definitely beginning to take on that feel for me, as well.

At the end of the day it's only boxing but the contrast between the two choices in this fight couldn't be any more grim and stark.

Mayweather is a ****y, arrogant, self-serving ******* who hasn't had a challenge since his days at 135, and who values money, and public status over all else.

Marquez is a humble, reserved, stoic, and valiant Champion who's leaping up two weight divisions to challenge him.

Like I said, on the surface ; it's just boxing. But the undertones in this one are dramatic.

Thank you for so thoroughly understanding my position.

It seems like the younger ones don't understand what HBO is really trying to sell us here.
