The problem with society is that we let far too many charlatans, politicians and famous persons (not many are all that bright) have a microphone to stir up public anger. Far far too many have listened to knuckleheads the last 8 years telling everyone about this oppressed subculture and this subculture instead of just flat out Americans. PERIOD! It’s as if we’ve allowed the media and politicians to divide us and identify us as warring tribes which could be furthest from the truth. And time and again people buy into the bull s h I t.

Your common man and woman from any damned race isn’t waking up each morning saying to themselves how can I screw over whitey, how can I get one up on the black man, what can I do to put yella fella in his place? It’s not happening because people go on about their lives and don’t give two s h i ts what you are doing. People in general could care less. They go on living their life and don’t have time for this grievance and that grievanced population. They literally give two ***s. But that’s ok, let the media keep feeding you the lie. Let the politicians divide each of us into continuous subcultures to fracture us further in order to gain more power.

It’s up to you, don’t buy into the bulls h it. And STOP celebrating this month, that month, for this group and that group. Celebrate everyday and just ***ing go on living ffs.

Is Thurman corny? Yes , but who are some of you to say he isn’t black enough or shouldn’t take pride in what he’s saying? Many of you identify with a nationality through your relatives despite you not actually being from that country. If you didn’t have an issue with the Mexican themed boxing events in May and sept every year or msg hosting fights with Irish fighters on st patrick’s weekend or Cotto headlining at msg the weekend of the PR parade, you shouldn’t have an issue with what Thurman is saying.

I see a lot of posts which indicate that people are still offended by "Black History Month!" As an African-American, it's hard to admit, but I don't like Black History Month either! I don't see why it's should be required! Couldn't educators in America simply teach HISTORY? Unfortunately, for nearly 100+ years, the answer is NO!

For some reason, in America, it's too hard to teach that there were civilizations created by people of color, prior to the Greco-Roman era? It's even hard to teach that people of color were citizens of the Roman Empire. We definitely fail to teach that Arab and African people were rulers of vast swaths of land in Southern Europe all the way up until 1492! It was too hard to teach that Africans, and Asians had been travelers and traders to the Americas long before Columbus' arrival. We never taught about the atrocities Columbus committed, which were well-documented by people like Father Bartoleme De La Casas, who traveled here with Columbus. No, for some reason, the story had to be that Columbus, under the charge of Christian Spain, came to the Americas to "civilize the savages!"

Why couldn't we have taught that after millions of deaths, caused by disease, slavery, and torture, European Planters who decimated the Indigenous population, were desperate for cheap labor for their plantations, so they created a system of indentured servitude, where they paid for the expenses of their laborers travel, food, clothes, and shelter, in return for roughly 7 years of labor, and then the former servant was free to purchase land, and create their own fortunes in this "New" land? They could've taught how the Irish were taken to the Caribbean, to islands like Barbados, etc., just like West and Central Africans, and for the same purposes. Then they could've explained how these immoral, greedy MF'ing Planters defaulted on their contractual obligations, which led to many rebellions, by Red, Black, and White Folk, working together to remedy their conditions! Similarly, in the American Colonies, the Planter class had the same problems, too much greed, broken promises, and rebellions by Red, Black, and White Folk, seeking remedy for their conditions! See "Bacon's Rebellion!" So in response to that , a whole new class system was built around RACE! No longer would one be Irish, English, Ashanti, Man***a, Taino, Arawak, Pueblo, or Cherokee. Now you're either White, Black, or Indian! If you're a descendant of Whites, you're free, maybe broke as fK, with zero political power, because you don't own enough land, but free nonetheless! All others are not only ******, but not even "real" humans anymore! This system came to be called "White Supremacy!" It was taught in the Universities! It was even taught in Church every Sunday! It was taught for generations! DECADES, over a HUNDRED YEARS!

No, America can't do anything simple! We just have to make everything extra complicated! We would rather stick our heads in the sand, and just keep repeating that in America, we believe that all men are endowed by their creator, the right to life, liberty , and the pursuit of happiness! Pay no attention to those who speak of the "Trail of Tears!" Pay no attention to the 1619 Project! Pay no attention to the "School of the Americas," and our attempts to control the affairs to Latin America since FOREVER! Pay no attention Gen. Oliver North at the shredder, or the CIA involvement with the CONTRAS and Latin Drug Cartels! All is well, and could be better if we "Build The Wall!" And if anyone tries to speak about anything contrary to the good Christian values we've displayed throughout our existence, label it "Critical Race Theory," and destroy it! Ban it! And kill all those who espouse it! Buy as many weapons as you can, because we have an enemy among us! By the grace of God Almighty, we will "Make America Great Again!"
