Explain to me how Dana White is screwing over anyone? A fighter is provided a contract that is reviewed by UFC parent company lawyers and the fighter’s lawyer (if he’s smart). Once reviewed and if signed they’ve entered into a mutually agreed upon written contract. You don’t cry about contract terms afterwards you do that beforehand. No one has a gun over a fighter’s head to sign anything. Most wouldn’t make the money they make now without the UFC. If they don’t like the terms of their contract they have options. 1) allow it to run its course and seek other employment, 2) request for renegotiation 3) do well and upon resigning ask for a pay boost.

Sure but like, we had Magsayo vs Russell on Showtime pretty recently. That's probably a smaller fight pay wise but you'd think they could find a slot for a Keith tune-up.
I guess that depends on his guarantee? But like lol how much do they even expect to make on this ppv.Last edited by Sctrojan; 02-02-2022, 12:05 AM.Comment

Exactly.
Seems kinda insincere for them to hype up Ramos vs Lopez when Josesito pulled out a couple weeks ago.
He's been replaced by Lucas Santamayor who upset Devon Alexander a couple fights back.
Not a bad replacement. But sti using Josesitos name knowing he ain't fighting is shady.Last edited by edgarg; 02-01-2022, 11:54 PM.Comment

That's what I'm saying on the first part of my post. I said if the fights worth it 75 dollars is fine. Fury vs wilder even tho we seen it twice already it still had that intrigue because of the build up the back story wilders power etc and the undercard was good with Sanchez-Ajagba and Kownacki-helenius 2. but Thurman vs barrios and Davis-Cruz there not ppv fights and that's why tanks ppv bombed and so did Woodley-paul supposedly so did martin-ortiz because the fans know whats worth paying for more times then not an there tired of being told this is ppv when it clearly isn'tLast edited by Boxing2695; 02-02-2022, 12:35 AM.Comment

Thurman is right the price of gum is not $.25 cents anymore and that’s why nobody going to care about boxing anymore.
The fighters purses for the last decade have been inflated and that has damaged the market since every fighter believes that they are some boxing star when In reality that don’t generate enough $$ to make promoters and networks any profit unless your Canelo,Joshua,Spence and Wilder. That’s why there are so many PPV’s these promoters can’t pay their own fighters and don’t want to take risks anymore.
can’t wait for the boxing market bubble to burst and hit the restart button. So much $$$ can be made if there is a actual boxing commission. Until that enjoy that $75 bubble gumComment
