Crawford is OVERRATED BIG-TIME doesn't fight anybody that's capable of beating him. He learned that from fighting BENAVIDES and looked like a nobody, got lucky because of Benavides leg. Since he got exposed he's been careful fighting only winnable fights.

Anyone else catch the sort of language games and unclear wording? In my opinion it is misleading propaganda.
We have fighters who earn the mandatory and choose not to take it. And the media doesn’t say a word. Devin Haney enforced his position and he gets criticized. It’s ridiculous.
I hope all the readers out there have a sharp eye for logic, and view every area in this game with healthy skepticism, especially the areas you think represent the good ones, or the trustworthy exceptions in a dirty game, otherwise I worry people will get fooled by the vague wording and other things like that.Last edited by Boxing Logic; 01-30-2022, 09:59 PM.

"The media" but he doesn't say which media members by name. "He gets criticized" by he doesn't say who is criticizing. In other words, Bread is alleging a double standard of inconsistent criticisms, but he doesn't specify who those critics are so there is no data to go off of, no evidence actually being presented, just vague claims. In my opinion, these word games create a false perception. In my opinion, when fighters earn mandatory shots and choose not to take them, some media play to one side and criticize, and some media play to the other side and don't criticize. Likewise, Devin Haney only gets criticized by some fans and some media but not others, fans and media being two more groups Bread failed to distinguish between, and of the criticism he does get, I'd guess either none of it, or the least of it, is because he "enforced his position." I've seen people criticize the narrative that Loma fighting Teofimo meant he ducked Haney. I've seen people question why the WBC ordered the Haney mandatory so quickly when they make up their own rules and could have delayed it (but then that wouldn't have helped promote Haney, Loma, and the other lightweights using this ******, engineered controversy). I haven't seen anyone criticize Haney for enforcing his mandatory position, although again, that would not have been up to him in the first place had the WBC not ordered the mandatory just in time to ruin an undisputed fight and create more carrots to stick in front of fans noses going forward.

The winner would have had to address the Haney mando afterwards. But by requesting Franchise Champion status Top Rank made sure that Devin Haney was removed from the picture altogether and could never be forced on them.
They did Haney dirty. And certain media ran with the "Email Champ" narrative to help Top Rank muddy the waters.
They're not done screwing Devin over, either. Now they're trying to make sure he doesn't get the Kambosos fight. Remember when Bob Arum told Haney he signed with the wrong promoter? He meant it.
