Until then her downplaying the loss to Marshall is straight up that: trying to discount a defeat.
Hmm, this whole Marshall vs Marshall argument has my head loopy. Not sure what we were arguing about anymore.

please sir look at reality............were talking about the whole total picture here....i dont think you can name 1 boxer male or female that didnt lose an amateur bout, not one. so she was outpointed 17 to 14 in GB where amateur scoring has always been questionable. even Roy jones jr. lost in an olympic bout to a russian that he damn near killed, yet lost a unanamous decision. what has marshall done since that remarkable feat of outpointing shields? well she was eliminated from the tokyo and rio games by not making it to the medal rounds...... but she did beat shields once....yippy yippy....then shields went on to win back to back olympic golds, while marshall was nowhere to be seen . but she did beat her once. yippy. and now she holds a professional belt that shields vacated, to win more belts in a different weight class......kinda like getting sloppy seconds when screwing...
