Williams still not paid for Klitschko fight?

He got seven shades of crap knocked out of him, yet apparently they still haven't stumped up his pay.

Danny said he didn't want to make a public announcement, but people can contact him about it via his website.

No wonder he wants to fight Tyson or Klitcho again. He needs the money.

man. i took a fight at cobo hall one time. To make a long story short I went into the ring with the attitude of its gonna be me or him and we will not be in here long enough to hear the second round bell. We started boxing and I was moving well and countering well and then i landed a good 1-2 on him and watched his eyes roll in the back of his head. I said this is it man and went in for him. Well, he wrapped his arms around me holding on and, as I was taught by my trainer, I threw him down to the canvas. What i did next he my trainer never taught me, I busted him in the top of the head. It wasnt full power but enough to rattle somebody. So the ref takes me to a neutral corner and is warning me about cracking him when he's down. I was just in a rage, uncontrolled. So anyway, the ref tells us to box and I load my right hand to drop him and move in, I let it fly. The next thing I know, I have a hold of the middle rope and I'm pulling myself off of the canvas, the refs on 5 or 6 in his count. I'm like how did I get here and what about 1-2-3 and 4. So I go right back in swinging the leather and get nailed again. My best friend loves to tell this story, of how my back was facing him from the stands and then he hears a loud smack and watches my head jolt to the left with my lips flailing away in the breeze. Down I go. I got up but the ref stopped it. I always thank him whenever he tells that story to a crowd of people.

So making what was supposed to be a short story long again, I get showered and dressed and head up to the promoters office to get my check. The crowd at the event was sparce at best. The Detroit hoedown was going on next door and there were so many people out there, but non inside watching the fights. So the promoter tells me that he doesnt have my money. I'm like WHAT! One reason that I had even got the fight was the need for the money. I eventually did get some of the money about 4 or 5
months after the bout but it was only about 40% of what my purse actually was.

Brad Wright, the michigan commisioner (to say) has recently made it mandatory for all promoters to have a $20,000 bond on any fight card. As he said, "To atleast make sure that the little guys get paid." That night I definately felt like a little guy with my back in the rosin, lol......

Brad had mentioned this about the bonds at the Association of Boxing Commisions seminar. He also added that he was so up set with what happened at cobo arena,. " Rockin' suffered one of the most hilacious knockouts that I've seen and never got paid for the fight. "You remember that one dont you Rockin', that was one of the worst shots i'd seen?" I'm like, "yeah, Brad I remember that one, thanks for bringing it up."

Everybody remembers when you get dropped but rarely if ever do they bring up the times that I was dropping people. I just remember not getting paid and that flat out ******...Rockin'

no, that fight was not my last fight. That fight I took on over a years abscense from the gym and then only about 3 or 4 weeks prep time. I took another couple of fights like a year or two later just because i missed throwin' the fists. I won both of those and then a couiple years past and I needed rent money so I took another fight with almost no preperation. lost a decision to a home town boy in cleveland.

Brain damage? Im not certain. I do get some wicked headaches from time to time but its been a while since I have had one of those. Quite honestly, I spent alot of time fighting with alot of tough people in the ring. Time will tell the reprecutions of me being a fighter. Maybe, maybe not. As I said time will tell. Either way, I am still glad that I had the experiences with boxing that I did. I actually wouldnt trade them for anything in the world. ........ Rockin'

my record was not flawless. On my record I have 2- speeding tickets and 2- peeing in publics. I pleaded innocent in each but was still forced to pay fines.... Rockin'

I remember that fight, rockin - it was me that knocked you TFO.

Nah, I'm just kiddin'. It was actually interesting hearing the boxing perspective... and from someone with the humility to tell of losing a bout.

Yes that is me in the pic with my manager jackie Kallen. I have no shame in telling about fights I have lost. As a matter of fact I believe that people like to hear those stories more than the fights that I won for some reason, unless I knocked them out, they get into those. The way that I figure it is that if I had the balls to step up and throw the fists than why should I be ashamed of a loss. After all, so many say that they would and could be a boxer but few have the guts to follow through with it. I stepped up therefore I am not ashamed of a loss, as long as I gave it what I had..........Rockin'
